Kid’s Closet Clutter Control with Jennifer of Westlake, Ohio

This spring, I decided it was time to get a handle on all of the clothes my boys have outgrown, but we aren't ready to donate. I have been storing them all in those big plastic storage totes in their closets, leaving no room for toys or any of the other things we use all the time. As a result, the things they use are scattered all over their rooms, while the closets are packed with things we don't use anymore.

I removed all the clothes from the closet and sorted them by size and season. Then I used the large, colored Space Bags to organize them. I labeled each bag according to the size, and used the colors to indicate season. It worked amazingly well! What used to take up the whole closet now fits on one shelf. I actually have bare shelves! Now I only have one problem — what the heck do I do with all those storage bins?
