I inherited many large quilts, mostly queen and king sized beds. When I first brought them home I put them in a large cube sized space bag, vacuumed it nice and tight and put it on a shelf. 2 months later it is taking on air and air is an enemy for keeping quilts safe. What can I do? Why won’t these bags keep their seal??? Anyone out there able to accomplish this
We’re sorry to hear about your issue with Space Bag products, as we are committed to providing quality products. If your bag is re-inflating, it could be because the zipper is not securely sealed. Try sealing the bag again and pinching the seal together while closing the bag – and make sure to zip all the way across the bag.
Also, be sure that stored items fit below the black line printed on the Space Bag, about 2 inches below the zipper. You may also check underneath the black cap where you place the vacuum hose, where there is a clear rubber seal. After vacuuming the air out, press down on the clear rubber seal to make sure it didn’t become loose from the suction of the vacuum.
If you are still having problems, remember we have a 60-day, unconditional money-back guarantee. The blue sealer keeps falling off of several of my bags. I resorted to tape. Any suggestions?
I ordered space saver bags last year. The small bags seem to work okay but the larger bags do not hold air. The large blanket bag I filled and then it ripped as I tried to close it and I requested a replacement which I never received. They do not work as seen on tv.

I personally love the space bags! I bought several of the large cube like canvas storage containers and have used them over and over with no problem. I have lots of extra comforters, blankets, pillows, and sheet sets that I keep for out of town guests (always seem to have multiple guests during the cold months!). The problem was that all of this beddings was taking up huge amounts of space. When you came out with the storage cube, I immediately bought two and use one for multiple sets of full size bedding with pillows and one for multiple sets of queen size bedding. It makes it so easy when we have guests, just need to pull out the cube for whatever size bed I’m making up. As I wash all the bedding before storage, it’s quick and easy. Never had a problem with these reinflating after I vacuum and store. The canvas storage cubes are the best because when you stack them on top of each other they don’t slide around and the canvas covers hide the fact that they’re storage!
